Two-factor authentication is an extra layer of security for your RexBit account designed to ensure that you're the only person who can access your account, even if someone might know your password.
With two-factor authentication, your account can only be accessed on devices you trust, like your smartphone. When you want to sign in to your RexBit account, you'll need to provide two pieces of information—your password and the six-digit verification code that's automatically displayed in your authentication app.
To set up Two-factor authentication on your RexBit account follow these step-by-step guides:
Go to "https://www.rexbit.co/#/register"
Go to https://www.rexbit.co/#/register and fill the information and click create an account.
Go to your email address to confirm your registration
RexBit will send you an email to confirm and complete your registration. Please check your email address and click on "verify account".
Download Google Authenticator on your mobile device
You can use a different authentication app if you prefer.
Open Google Authenticator and add a new authentication key
If this is your first time using Google Authenticator, tap “Begin Setup” to add a new key.
If you have previously set up Google Authenticator, tap the + icon in the top bar to add a new key.
Select the “Scan barcode” option.
Use Google Authenticator to scan the QR code
Point your phone camera at the QR Code displayed on the RexBit website. The app will scan the QR Code and display a 6 digit code.
Enter the 6 digit code provided by Google Authenticator
In the “Authentication code" text field, enter the 6 digit code that appears in the Google Authenticator app. FYI: the code changes every 30 seconds.
Your 2FA is created. Now you click continue to log in your account.
